Small, Medium and Large, compared.
A side-by-side of Oliver Group's three valuation packages. The package is set by the annual turnover of the business, so you can read your fee off the page before you call.
Oliver Group has three fixed-fee business valuation packages, set by the annual turnover of the business: a Small Business Valuation is $1,495 + GST for turnover under $2 million and is delivered in 2 business days; a Medium Business Valuation is $2,495 + GST for turnover between $2 million and $10 million and is delivered in 3 business days; and a Large Business Valuation is $3,495 + GST for turnover over $10 million, with the delivery date agreed before commencement. Delivery time starts once payment and all required information have been received. The package is set by the size of the business, not by budget and not by how complex the matter is.

How the package is chosen
The package follows the annual turnover of the business and nothing else. You do not need to judge how complex your matter is, or guess which level of report a purpose calls for: tell us the turnover and the fee is settled. That is the point of publishing it. The fee is fixed in writing before work begins and never depends on the concluded value.
- ·Annual turnover under $2 million: Small Business Valuation, $1,495 + GST, delivered in 2 business days.
- ·Annual turnover $2 million to $10 million: Medium Business Valuation, $2,495 + GST, delivered in 3 business days.
- ·Annual turnover over $10 million: Large Business Valuation, $3,495 + GST, delivery date agreed before commencement.
- ·Defined add-ons: retrospective valuation date +$495 per date; each additional entity +$795.
What every report contains, at every level
The deliverable does not change with the package. Every engagement produces a signed valuation report with a concluded value and a supportable range, the methodology applied and the evidence behind it documented, assumptions and limitations stated in full, an independence statement, and the signature of the valuer responsible for it. Every report is independently reviewed before it is issued, and the complete working file is retained for ten years.
When delivery time starts
Delivery time starts once payment and all required information have been received. It is not measured from your initial enquiry, from the booking, or from the first document you upload. We tell you exactly what information is required before you engage, so the clock is in your hands. A Large Business Valuation is scoped first and its delivery date is agreed with you before work begins.
What moves the fee beyond the package
Two published add-ons, and nothing else. A retrospective valuation date is +$495 per historical date, because the analysis has to be restricted to evidence available at that date. Each additional entity is +$795, because each one is a separate set of accounts to normalise. There is no hourly billing, there are no disbursements, and clients referred by an accountant or lawyer receive 10% off the published fee.
Common questions.
How much does a business valuation cost?+
The fee is set by the annual turnover of the business: $1,495 + GST under $2 million, $2,495 + GST from $2 million to $10 million, and $3,495 + GST over $10 million.
How do I know which valuation package I need?+
Start from the annual turnover of the business, not the purpose or the price. Under $2 million is the Small Business Valuation, $2 million to $10 million is the Medium Business Valuation, and over $10 million is the Large Business Valuation. The scope of the report is the same at every package.
What is the difference between the Medium and the Large package?+
The deliverable is the same: a signed valuation report with a concluded value and a supportable range. What separates them is the size of the business and therefore the fee. A Medium Business Valuation is $2,495 + GST for annual turnover between $2 million and $10 million and is delivered in 3 business days. A Large Business Valuation is $3,495 + GST for annual turnover over $10 million, and its delivery date is agreed with you before work begins rather than promised in days. Delivery time starts once payment and all required information have been received.
What happens if the business turns out to be bigger than I said?+
We tell you before we do the work. The package follows the annual turnover of the business, so if the accounts show a different turnover band from the one you gave us at scoping, we confirm the corrected package and fee in writing and you decide whether to proceed. The fee never changes after you have engaged on agreed facts, and it never changes because of the value we arrive at.
Is the entry-level package good enough for an ATO-facing purpose?+
Yes. Every package produces the same signed report, with the methodology applied and the evidence behind it documented, assumptions and limitations stated in full, and an independent review before issue. Only the fee and the turnover band differ. Tell us at scoping that the report is ATO-facing so the working file is documented with a reviewer in mind.
Does a higher package mean a higher valuation outcome?+
No. The package is set by the annual turnover of the business, and nothing about the engagement rewards a particular number. The fee is fixed in writing before the work starts, so it cannot move with the answer.
