Confidential enquiry

Tell us about the matter

Basic information about the business and what the valuation is for. We review it, complete an initial conflict and scope assessment and contact you. Submitting this form does not create an engagement and does not commit you to anything.

Enquiry form

All fields are required unless marked optional.

Step 1 of 2

About you

We reply by email unless you ask us to call.

Used only to contact you about this enquiry.

Where you, or the business, are located. We work Australia-wide.

The service

Choose the service you have in mind, or ask us to advise.

Which service are you enquiring about?

If you are not sure, choose "Not sure" and we will confirm the appropriate scope. The Settlement Valuation is prepared for negotiation and mediation purposes. It is not prepared for filing or reliance as expert evidence in court.

Engagement is subject to an initial conflict and suitability assessment, review of the proposed instructions and acceptance by the appointed expert. The final scope and fee depend on the business, the entity structure, the quality of the records and the issues in dispute, and are confirmed in writing before work begins.

About the business

The trading name is fine. If there are several entities, name the main one and describe the rest below.

How the business is owned. Choose "Not sure" if you do not know; we can work it out from the documents.

Total sales for the most recent financial year. An approximate band is enough.

The percentage of the business or entity held by the party whose interest is being valued. Enter 100 if the whole business is being valued.

The matter

Where things stand. If you are not sure about a question, choose "Not sure"; it will not delay the assessment.

Is the matter currently before the Court?

Whether proceedings have been started. If you are not sure, choose "Not sure".

Has a single expert been jointly agreed or ordered?

A single expert is one valuer appointed for both parties, by agreement or by order of the Court.

Are both parties represented?

Whether each party has a lawyer acting for them.

Any date set by the Court, a mediation date or a date agreed between the parties. Leave blank if there is none.

Needed so we can check for conflicts before your matter is discussed. See the note on conflict checking.

Leave blank if the other party is not represented or you do not know.

Description and documents

A few sentences is enough. Please do not include medical, personal or sensitive details about either party at this stage.

Documents are optional and can be added in step 2.

Prefer to talk first?

The contact page carries a short call-back request that does not name the parties. For the two services, see the Settlement Valuation and the Court Expert Valuation. The Settlement Valuation is prepared for negotiation and mediation purposes. It is not prepared for filing or reliance as expert evidence in court.
